Details/Summary:

On March 26, 2022, a family met with a FWPD officer to report child molesting allegations involving two (2) victims who are minor children. The two children reported being molested by Luis Angel Mondragon-Alcantara several years ago when he too was a minor. Mr. Mondragon-Alcantara is now an adult and is much older than the two victims. Detective Sergeant Todd Battershell, a supervisor with the FWPD Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), adopted the case and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for Mr. Mondragon-Alcantara’s arrest this morning. He was arrested at approximately 0940 hours and is currently confined at the Allen County Jail.

Detective Sergeant Battershell was assisted by the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children, the Indiana Department of Child Services, FWPD Victims Assistance, Therapists from Amani Family Services, and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department Warrants Division.
