Details/Summary:
An investigation into Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) commonly referred to as Child Pornography began on February 28, 2024. A buyer of storage units brought evidentiary items to the Fort Wayne Police Department after discovering that some of the property left inside the storage unit contained CSAM . Detective Chuck Volz was assigned to lead the investigation. He determined that Alex William Hockenberry was involved. Mr. Hockenberry was taken into custody this morning and subsequently arrested for the charges listed. Detective Volz was assisted by the FWPD Digital Forensic Unit and Uniform Patrol Officers Anthony Maurer and Adam Crall.
