Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department received 911 calls regarding hearing shots fired in the area of the 1200 block of Hugh Street. Officers arrived and located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided medical assistance until Paramedics arrived. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, to which he was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives and crime scene technicians are searching the area for evidence and witnesses. This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
