Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a fatal shooting that occurred March 5th, 2024 at the Economy Inn just before 11:30 am. Initial reports indicated that two adult males got into an altercation, resulting in one of the males getting shot by the other. The victim died at the scene and the suspect, Archie Whitest was arrested at the scene. The Fort Wayne Police Department Patrol Unit, Homicide Unit, and Crime Scene Unit were instrumental in making a timely arrest.
