Details/Summary:
On March 3, 2024, at approximately 2121 hours, FWPD Officers responded to a double shooting investigation in the 5000 block of Roberta Dr. Upon arrival, Officers located a male victim and female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Life saving measures were attempted, but the male victim succumbed to his wounds and was later pronounced deceased on scene. The female victim was transported to a local hospital and her condition was determined to be non-life threatening. FWPD Homicide Detectives conducted a criminal investigation and identified 66yo Kenneth Hogan Jr. as the suspect in the homicide. At approximately 2257 hours, Kenneth Hogan Jr. was taken into custody without incident in the area of S. Calhoun St and E. Superior St. The FWPD Homicide Unit was assisted in the arrest by the Uniform Operations Division and the Allen County Prosecutors Office. Kenneth Hogan Jr is Preliminary charged with Murder and Aggravated Battery and is being held at the Allen County Jail.
