On August 8th, 2023, Daniel Mathis was seen entering the Hollister Jean and clothing store located in Glenbrook Mall, at which time he proceeded to the dressing room area and held his cell phone under one of the dressing room doors while a young female was changing.

Details/Summary:
On August 8th, 2023, Daniel Mathis was seen entering the Hollister Jean and clothing store located in Glenbrook Mall, 4201 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana at which time he proceeded to the dressing room area and held his cell phone under one of the dressing room doors while a thirteen (13) years old female was changing. Mathis was also observed on December 19th, 2023, again entering the Hollister Jean and clothing store in Glenbrook Mall at which time he proceeded to the dressing rooms where he held his cell phone under the dressing room door while a twenty-one (21) years old female was changing. Mathis was observed on surveillance video during both incidents inside the Hollister department store and walking through Glenbrook Mall. Images and videos were released to the public. Through the course of the investigation, Detective Jean Gigli and Detective Miranda Lasley of the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Crimes Against Person’s investigative division, were able to identify Daniel Mathis as the person seen in the surveillance videos. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Mathis’ arrest on February 7th, 2023. A search warrant was also served on Mathis’ residence on February 7th, 2024, located at in the 6100 block of Landmark Drive. Mathis was not present at the time of the search warrant. On February 12th, 2024, Daniel Mathis was arrested in South Bend, Indiana. He is currently awaiting extradition from South Bend, Indiana.
