On January 17, 2024, at 1130 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Corwin Lane.
Time of Alarm: 1130 hours
On Scene: 1134 hours
Under Control: 1157 hours
Fire crews arrived on the scene and found fire in the attic. Crews searched the home but all occupants were found to be out of the home.
Fire crews extinguished the fire in the attic and the fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by Indiana Michigan Power, NIPSCO, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, and the City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
