On January 15, 2024, at 0143 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of an attic house fire in the 1740 block of Olladale Drive.
Time of Alarm: 0143 hours
On Scene: 0147 hours
Under Control: 0206 hours
When the first unit arrived on the scene, smoke was visible from the attic area of the home. Active fire was showing when crews pulled ceilings to get access to the area.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and the home was searched for any occupants or pets, but none were found.
Crews will remain on scene checking the house for hot spots for a period of time.
The fire is still being investigated at this time.
Assisting the Fort Wayne Fire Department at the scene was the City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, Indiana Michigan Power, NIPSCO, and The American Red Cross.
