After an investigation by FWPD Detective Miranda Lasley and conviction in court, Terrance Michael King was sentenced on December 18, 2023 to one hundred fifty-four years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.

Details/Summary:

Thirty-five (35) years old Terrance Michael King is a registrant of the Indiana Sex Offender Registry. Nonetheless, he victimized two (2) other children over several years while on said registry. An investigation led by Detective Miranda Lasley commenced on March 10, 2022 which led to Mr. King’s arrest. He was tried on October 16th-18th, 2023 and subsequently convicted on all charges. Mr. King was also found guilty of being a Repeat Sex Offender. On December 18, 2023, Mr. King was sentenced to one hundred fifty-four (154) years in the Indiana Department of Corrections. Detective Lasley was assisted by the Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children, the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, the Indiana Department of Child Services-Allen County, the Fort Wayne Police Department Victim Assistance Unit, the Allen County Prosecutors Office, and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department Warrants Division.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
