On November 27, 2023, at 1917 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 202 West Jacobs Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1917 hours
On Scene: 1920 hours
Under Control: 1939 hours
FWFD Engine 1 arrived and reported smoke coming from the structure. Multiple fire crews began a search of the three-story vacant industrial building. A fire was found and extinguished on the third floor.
The continued search of the structure found no occupants to be present.
One Firefighter was injured during the incident and the cause of this fire is being investigated.
