On November 25, 2023, at 2146 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in the 1900 block of Sinclair Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire on the first-floor of a medium two-story residential structure. Crews advanced hose lines inside structure for fire control and search. Fire crews found fire on both the first and second floors and on the exterior of house. The difficult fire was extinguished and under control in around forty-five minutes.
Searches were completed with 1 pet found deceased.
Crews performed salvage and overhaul of home that suffered heavy fire, smoke and water damage.
Fire Investigators arrived on scene and the cause of fire was under investigation.
