An Extra Drop-off Weekend Added at Biosolids
Winter Hours DelayedFort Wayne, Indiana (November 22, 2023) — Residents have two more weekends to dispose of leaves and yard waste at Biosolids before the facility switches to winter hours.
The Biosolids Facility usually switches to the winter schedule on November 30 but will add an extra weekend to help residents with their fall clean-up. Residents can drop off yard waste, leaves, and branches for a disposal fee of $1 for less than 100 pounds or $20 a ton.
The facility is closed on Thanksgiving Day but will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. this Friday and Saturday and from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Next week’s schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3.
Winter hours will begin on December 4, 2023. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on weekends through March 30, 2024.
