Details/Summary:
On November 7th, 2023 at approximately 3:04 pm officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department, FWPD Gang and Violent Crime Unit, and an Allen County PD School Resource Officer responded to a call of an Armed Disturbance in the area of 3000 S. Hanna St. Weisser Park Elementary was placed on a lockout because of the proximity to the call. Two male suspects wearing all black, matching the description given to police, where located in the area of Eckart and John St. The suspects fled when encountering police. The two suspects were taken into custody after a foot pursuit. Two handguns were recovered in the area of the foot pursuit.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
