Non Life-Threatening Traffic Accident

Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a traffic accident involving a cyclist with injury at Tennessee Ave. and St. Joseph Blvd. today at roughly 8:49 AM. Preliminary information and witness accounts indicate that the adult male cyclist was traveling East on Tennessee Ave. and the motor vehicle was traveling North on St. Joseph Blvd. when they collided. The cyclist was rendered aid and transported to a local hospital by TRAA in non life-threatening condition. As a precaution, the scene was held until notification was made from medical staff that the cyclist was still in non life-threatening condition after being evaluated. The driver of the motor vehicle is cooperating with officers during this investigation. The intersection was briefly closed during this investigation and is now open.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
