On October 20, 2023, at 1930 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a duplex fire in the 1300 block of Stophlet Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1930 hours
On Scene: 1933 hours
Under Control: 2006 hours
The occupant called 9-1-1 reporting smoke in a second-floor apartment. The first firefighters to arrive confirmed that all persons were out of the building. Fire was found in the walls of a stairway. A search of the home was made to confirm everyone was safe.
No injuries occurred at this incident and the cause is being investigated.

Water Damage: Minor
