On September 22, 2023, at 1927 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3100 block of South Lafayette Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1922 hours
On Scene: 1923 hours
Under Control: 1940 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found a second-story home with smoke and fire showing from the rear of the house. Crews initiated an attack through the front door and extinguished the fire.
The house was cleared to make sure no one was inside.
No injuries were reported at this time.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
