Details/Summary:
On Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, at approximately 1:50AM, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Fox Point Trl in reference to multiple calls reporting shots fired. As officers responded to the area, calls were received reporting the location of a potential gunshot victim. FWPD arrived on scene and located both males suffering from gunshot wounds.
Responding officers rendered aid, while awaiting the arrival of medics who later transported one male to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second male was pronounced deceased on scene.
FWPD Homicide, Crime Scene Technicians and Aerial Support Unit were called out to process the scene. Detectives are going door to door attempting to locate witnesses and/or video surveillance.

This incident remains under investigation by Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Coroner’s Office.
