On July 21, 2023, at 2337 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 700 block of Cottage Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 2337 hours
On Scene: 2340 hours
Under Control: 2357 hours
Firefighters found light smoke coming from the house upon arrival. A fire was located on the second-floor and brought under control within 17 minutes.
There were nine people at home and all were able to safely exit.
There were no injuries to firefighters on scene, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Heavy
