City offices to be closed for Independence Day

The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day.

News release from the City of Fort Wayne:

City offices to be closed for Independence Day

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 28, 2023) – The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day.

There will be no residential garbage and recycling collection on Tuesday. Monday will be collected as normal. Collection for Tuesday – Friday will be a day behind.

City offices will resume regular business hours on Wednesday, July 5.
