On May 15, 2023, at 1930 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire in the 3500 block of Chestnut Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1930 hours
On Scene: 1933 hours
Under Control: 1946 hours
Upon arrival, a fire was located in the rear of the house in a bedroom. There was one occupant home at the time who was able to evacuate safely. The fire was brought under control quickly without injury to anyone on scene, and is currently under investigation. FWFD was assisted by FWPD, TRAA, and other agencies.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
