On May 15, 2023, at 1801 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3000 block of South Monroe Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1801 hours
On Scene: 1803 hours
Under Control: 1815 hours
Firefighters discovered a fire in the basement which was quickly extinguished.
Several family members were at home at the time of the fire and all safely evacuated.
There were no injuries to occupants of the house or to firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire Damage: Minor
Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
