Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a single vehicle accident involving an injured party today at 9:19 am in the 6100 block of Decatur Rd. A black passenger car crashed into a black trailer on private property. The air bag was deployed and an adult female was found unresponsive in the drivers seat. The female was pronounced deceased by Paramedics. Preliminary investigation indicates that the crash possibly occurred shortly after midnight, on today’s date. The Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) was paged to take over the investigation.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department FACT, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
