
On January 31, 2023, at 0006 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a possible house fire in the 1300 block of West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0006 hours
On Scene: 0010 hours
Under Control: 0124 hours
The first firefighters on the scene reported heavy fire involvement throughout the first-floor. Crews worked for over an hour to bring the fire under control. Crews will be on scene for most of the morning locating and extinguishing hidden fires in the walls and attics.
Two occupants self-evacuated and were transported to the hospital for observation.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
