
On January 30, 2023, at 2046 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a duplex fire in the 1600 block of Tamera Gardens Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 2046 hours
On Scene: 2049 hours
Under Control: 2104 hours
Upon firefighters arrival, light smoke was observed coming from the attached garage and roof of a small one-story duplex. Upon investigation, crews found a working fire in garage. The fire was brought under control quickly with most of the fire damage contained to the garage. There was, however, some smoke damage to the attached apartment.
All occupants had already evacuated.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
