On January 27, 2023, at 1115 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Robbery and Homicide Unit took triple-homicide suspect Jacquail Belcher into custody without incident.

Details/Summary:
On January 27th, 2023 at approximately 11:15 am, the FWPD Homicide Unit took Jacquail Belcher into custody without incident. Belcher was charged with 3 counts of murder in the June 2018 homicides of Dernail Brown, DaShaun Richards, and Breondon Pinkston. Belcher was booked into the Allen County Jail. Assisting in this investigation was the FWPD Vice and Narcotics and Allen County Prosecutor Attorney’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
