On January 27, 2023, at 2228 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 2800 block of Stinson Drive.
Time of Alarm: 1228 hours
On Scene: 2234 hours
Under Control: 2258 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found moderate to heavy smoke issuing from the home. They investigated to find a fire in the kitchen area.
Four people self-evacuated from the home before the department’s arrival. During the incident, one firefighter suffered an injury/illness and was transported to a local hospital.
Fire Damage: Moderate
Water Damage: Minor
Smoke Damage: Heavy
