
On January 19, 2023, at 1610 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a residential structure fire called in by the homeowner in the 5200 block of Stone Creek Run, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1610 hours
On Scene: 1613 hours
Under Control: 1620 hours
When firefighters arrived and found fire in the kitchen area with smoke throughout the rest of the house. Crews extinguished the fire quickly and brought under control in a few minutes.
Three pets were found alive and rescued from the house.
Fire investigators were able to determine the cause to be accidental in nature.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Heavy
