On January 8, 2023, at 2030 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 3100 block of Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 2030 hours
On Scene: 2033 hours
Under Control: 2042 hours
The first unit to arrive reported a fire in the center of the structure and began firefighting activities. It took firefighters 10 minutes to bring the fire under control. The home sustained moderate fire and water damage and heavy smoke damage.
The occupant was not home at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
