Details/Summary:
On Wednesday November 30th 2022 at approximately 1109 pm officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 2300 block of Brooklyn Ave regarding a shooting. A male called 911 claiming another male attacked him, and that he shot the male in self defense. Officers arrived and found an adult male victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound. TRAA transported the victim to a local hospital where he was declared to be in life threatening condition. The male who called 911 remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office
