On November 24, 2022, at 1930 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1900 block of High Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1930 hours
On Scene: 1933 hours
Under Control: 1949 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found fire showing from the first floor. They worked to extinguish the fire in the first floor and attic area. Firefighters worked in the attic area to completely extinguish the fire. The fire was placed under control in approximately 15 minutes.
One pet was inside the home and escaped without injuries. No resident were home at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
The investigation determined that a bathroom vent fan caused the fire.
