
On October 20, 2022, at 1006 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 5500 block of Lois Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1006 hours
On Scene: 1009 hours
Under Control: 1029 hours
First units on the scene found smoke showing from the front door. On further investigation, firefighters found a small fire in the back bedroom. Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately 20 minutes.
No one was home at the time of the blaze. Neighbors were evacuated as a precaution.
One firefighter was injured and transported to a local medical facility.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
