Details/Summary:
On Saturday July 30, 2022 at approximately 6:52 PM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a residence located in the 8000 block of Hessen Castle Road in reference to a domestic battery investigation. As officers arrived on the scene, they were advised that a male was inside a residence armed with a firearm.
The male refused to exit the residence and had made suicide threats. Officers observed the male to be holding a firearm in his hand. After several minutes, the male exited the residence unarmed as he was then taken into custody. The male was transported from the scene to be interviewed by investigators.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
