- Dealing in Marijuana with a prior dealing conviction – Level 5 felony
Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department Gang & Violent Crimes Unit and Vice & Narcotics Unit, along with assistance from Northwest Patrol Officers were conducting surveillance on a residence in the area of 1000 St. Marys Ave. he surveillance led to a traffic stop that resulted in evidence of drug trafficking. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and a large amount of marijuana was found inside the home. Marquan Dshawn McGee was arrested and preliminarily charged with a level 5 felony of Dealing in Marijuana with a prior dealing conviction. Marquan is 26 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
