
On July 15, 2022, at 1451 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a house fire with a woman trapped on the second floor, in the 3500 block of South Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1451 hours
On Scene: 1453 hours
Under Control: 1507 hours
Firefighters arrived and found smoke coming from a 2 story house. Firefighters entered the house to contain the fire and search for the trapped occupant. The fire was located on the second floor.
The woman was located and rescued using ladders from the exterior. She was brought down to safety where medics were waiting to transport her to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
Two dogs were also rescued and turned over to Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
The fire was under control in 14 minutes.
