Electric Works Announces Community Beam Signing Event with Fort Wayne TinCaps

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 23, 2022) – Electric Works announces a special opportunity for Northeast Indiana residents to celebrate the campus’ construction progress. Members of the public are invited to sign a beam that will be installed on campus, commemorating community support for the project. The beam will be available for signatures from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 7 at Parkview Field.

While Electric Works encourages residents to join in the fun of the Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball game, the beam will be available just outside the main entrance to Parkview Field, allowing any community member to sign regardless of ticket purchase.

“Electric Works has always been a community-focused project,” said Fort Wayne City Councilman Geoff Paddock. “We hope to see hundreds, or even thousands of names on this beam to celebrate the strong community support that Electric Works received from the very beginning.”
“The TinCaps are thrilled for Electric Works to open, and the campus’ proximity to Parkview Field will add even more vibrancy to our neighborhood, and to downtown Fort Wayne as a whole. We are excited to host this beam signing event and cannot wait to add our own names to the beam,” said Mike Nutter, Fort Wayne TinCaps president.

The Fort Wayne TinCaps game will begin at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. The beam will be available from 5-9 p.m. outside the main entrance at Ewing and Breckenridge St. More information on Parkview Field and the TinCaps can be found at https://www.milb.com/fort-wayne.
