On June 5, 2022, at 0412 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 2500 block of Weststate Court, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 0417 hours
Under Control: 0434 hours
The first firefighters to arrive, found fire coming from a converted garage area on the end of the home. Fire crews quickly knocked down the fire and searched the home for any occupants. Firefighters thoroughly checked the home for any hidden fire and cleared the smoke from the interior.
There was no one inside the home, but five deceased dogs were found.
No injuries were reported.
