On May 26, 2022, at 1623 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department made an arrest in the shooting investigation in the 7400 block of Cold Springs Boulevard.

Details/Summary:
On May 24th, 2022 at 1830 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 7437 Cold Springs Blvd reference a shooting investigation. One victim was struck and privately conveyed to the hospital. The victim was struck in the groin and classified as in non-life threatening investigation. The suspect fled the scene and on-duty detectives conducted the initial investigation.
Update:
Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives took lead on the investigation and were able to identify the shooter as 25yo Quejuance Stewart. An arrest was made in the case on May 26th, 2022 at 1623 hours. Assisting the Homicide Division was the Vice and Narcotics Division.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
