On May 12, 2022, at 0847 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 2200 block of Hoagland Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0847 hours
On Scene: 0850 hours
Under Control: 0900 hours
When firefighters arrived there was fire showing out of a second floor window. The fire in the apartment was extinguished and the fire is under investigation at this time. Crews worked for a period of time removing smoke from the entire structure.
People the building were able to safely self-evacuate and no one was found inside the apartment.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
