On April 21, 2022, at 0828 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4700 block of Grassy Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0828 hours
On Scene: 0833 hours
Under Control: 0856 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found fire throughout the structure. Crews pulled lines to start fighting the fire and looking for ways to enter the structure. The fire was brought under control at 0856 hours.
Four adults were able to make it out, but four children were found deceased in the home.
The fire is under investigation by the Allen County Sherriff’s Department and Fort Wayne Police Department.
