A suspect has been arrested in a death investigation at the Traveler’s Inn at 4606 East Washington Boulevard.

Details/Summary:
On Sunday, 04/10/2022, at approximately 8:46 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Travelers Inn at 4606 E. Washington Blvd. reference an unknown problem. A female caller reported she arrived to visit a friend and was concerned about his well-being. Officers arrived and made entry into the motel room. They located the male/adult victim inside the room unresponsive. Fire personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Officers and Detectives of the FWPD were able develop a suspect early on in the investigation. The suspect was apprehended a short time later and was charged with the following crimes.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
