The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a life-threatening vehicle accident that occurred on March 12, 2022, at 0337 hours, in the 3300 block of Brooklyn Avenue.

Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a life-threatening crash that occurred at 3:37 am March 12th, 2022 in the 3300 block of Brooklyn Ave. Preliminary information indicates the vehicle was traveling Northbound on Brooklyn Ave. when it left the roadway near Nuttman Ave, striking a guidewire and a sign on the West side of the roadway, rolling over and ejecting the driver.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, an adult female, suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was rendered aid on scene and transported to a local hospital. The Fatal Accident Crash Team made the scene and closed all the roadway, while processing the scene. The roadway has since, been reopened. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department FACT team.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
