FWFD: House Fire, 4900 block Haffner Drive

On March 7, 2025, at 1224 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4900 block of Haffner Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1224 hours
On Scene: 1226 hours
Under Control: 1245 hours

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the structure and a report that one person was still inside. The first crew went in and extinguished the fire. The fire was put under control in 19 minutes, and is under investigation.

A victim was rescued from a first-floor window. There was another resident that had self-evacuated. Both victims were transported to the hospital for evaluation. There were three dogs that made it out of the structure unharmed.

Smoke Damage: Moderate
