Details/Summary:

On February 26, 2022, at 7:50pm, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a 911 hang-up at a house in the 2300 block of Gay St. Once on scene, officers recognized an adult male, identified as Kiaundray Rogers, as having the above charges stemming from an incident earlier in the evening.

Kiaundray retreated into a house and refused to exit or cooperate with officers, and it was reported that Kiaundray was armed with weapons. Because of the weapons, felony charges, and Kiaundray barricading himself inside a house, assistance was requested from the Emergency Services Team and the Crisis Response Team.

Negotiators began communicating with Kiaundray, who eventually surrendered without incident at 9:45pm.

Kiaundray was transported to the Allen County Jail.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

All information is preliminary and subject to change during the course of the investigation.
