
On February 3, 2022, at 1701 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of East Branning Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1701 hours
On Scene: 1703 hours
Under Control: 1735 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the front of the home with an occupant outside who had self-evacuated. After investigating, a fire was located in the crawl space of the home. Extensive overhaul procedures were utilized to locate all hidden areas that had been burning.
One cat was rescued and one firefighter sustained a minor injury.
