Storm total snow accumulations in excess of 1 foot are a good possibility across many locations. Hazardous travel conditions may persist into Friday as the north winds begin to diminish. In addition, some sleet and freezing rain is possible for a brief time mainly along and south of US Route 24, but the main impacts from this storm will be due to the dangerous combination of snow and gusty north winds.
