2022 City of Fort Wayne Civil City Budget resources

 

City Council ordinances approving the budget:

  • A-21-09-20: An ordinance appropriating monies for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the several departments of the City government of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2022, and ending December 31, 2022, including all outstanding claims and obligations and fixing a time when the same shall take effect. A public hearing was held October 5, 2021 at 5:30 pm. This ordinance was passed on October 26, 2021, with a final 8-1 vote in favor. Ayes: Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Paul Ensley, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker. Nay: Jason Arp.
  • S-21-09-21: An ordinance fixing the compensation of elected officials for the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the year 2022. This ordinance was passed with a final 7-2 vote in favor on October 26, 2021. Ayes: Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker. Nay: Jason Arp and Paul Ensley.
  • S-21-09-22: An ordinance fixing the salaries of each and every appointed officer, employee, deputy assistant, departmental and institutional head of the Civil City and City Utilities of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the year 2022. This ordinance was passed on October 26, 2021, with a final vote of 8-1 in favor. Ayes: Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Paul Ensley, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker. Nay: Jason Arp.
  • S-21-09-23: An ordinance fixing the salaries of all members of the Division of Public Safety of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the year 2022. This ordinance was passed with a unanimous vote of 9-0 in favor on October 26, 2021. Ayes: Jason Arp, Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Paul Ensley, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker.

  • A-21-09-14: Approval of the budget for Fort Wayne Public Transportation or Citilink, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021, and ending December 31, 2021. A public hearing was held October 5, 2021 at 5:30 pm. The ordinance was passed on October 26, 2021, with a final 8-1 vote in favor. Ayes: Jason Arp, Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker. Nay: Paul Ensley.
  • R-21-09-13: Resolution approving the 2022 budget for the Consolidated Communications Partnership of Allen County, Indiana, and the City of Fort Wayne. This ordinance was passed with a unanimous vote on October 12, 2021. Ayes: Jason Arp, Michelle Chambers, Thomas Didier, Paul Ensley, Thomas Freistroffer, Glenn Hines, Russ Jehl, Geoff Paddock, and Sharon Tucker.
  • R-21-10-02: A resolution approving the 2022 budget for the Downtown Fort Wayne Economic Improvement District (DID). This ordinance was passed on October 26, 2021, with a final unanimous vote in favor.
