
On December 27, 2021, at 1550 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3000 block of West Coliseum Boulevard in reference to a unresponsive person.

Victim: Adult Male (deceased)
Details/Summary:
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3000 Blk of W Coliseum Blvd in reference to a reported subject down and not responsive.
Upon officers arrival they did locate an adult male down inside the room and was not responsive. The Fort Wayne Fire Department arrived on scene and began to check the subject’s vitals and advised that the subject was in fact deceased.
Crime Scene and Detectives were called to the scene to investigate this death and determine if there was any foul play involved.
Upon their arrival and speaking with possible witnesses as well as checking the room in which the victim was in found no obvious signs of foul play surrounding the death of this individual.
The Identity of the victim will be released at a later time by the Allen County Coroner’s Office along with the cause and manner of death.
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
