On December 23, 2021, at 2237 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the 8700 block of Lima Road in reference to an armed disturbance.

Details:
On Thursday, December 23, 2021, at approximately 10:37 PM, Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 8700 block of Lima Rd. in reference to an armed disturbance. The initial call to the police department indicated that a man was breaking into the house with a gun.
Upon arrival, Officers found three adult gunshot victims at the scene. All victims were transported to a local hospital. One of the male victims was found to be in critical condition.
Preliminary information indicates that everyone involved knew each other and there was gunfire exchanged between at least two of the victims.
Currently, there is no outstanding suspects. Investigators are currently interviewing involved parties and witnesses. The Air Support Unit and Crime Scene Technicians are documenting the scene and collecting evidence.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
