On December 16, 2021 at 1221 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the 1600 block of Howell Street regarding a report that an adult male was sitting on his porch with a gunshot wound.

Details/Summary:
On December 16th, 2021 at approximately 12:21 AM dispatched received a call that an adult male was sitting on his porch at 1616 Howell St with a gunshot wound. When police arrived the victim was gone and ran to a nearby home on Richardson St. Medics and police arrived on Richardson St and immediately transported the victim to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is being held by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
