Brightpoint has received $25,000 in grant funding from the PNC Foundation to support the Head Start and Brightpoint Development Fund programs.

PNC Foundation Supports Brightpoint Head Start and Brightpoint Development Fund

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 23, 2021) – Brightpoint has received $25,000 in grant funding from the PNC Foundation to support the Head Start and Brightpoint Development Fund (BDF) programs.

Head Start is a comprehensive, center-based preschool program that provides education, health, nutrition, and other social services for low-income children and their families. Brightpoint Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5 in Allen, DeKalb, Noble, and Whitley Counties.
Founded in 2010, the Brightpoint Development Fund is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable business loans, financial education, and housing development services. It is a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) micro lender and a U.S. Department of the Treasury Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI.)

With this support from the PNC Foundation, Brightpoint will be able to continue helping communities, families, and individuals remove the causes and conditions of poverty.
